Seattle’s Best Coffee sent me some coffee to try and share my thoughts with you.
It’s no secret that I like coffee. I like it flavored, and I prefer it cold. Yes, I said it. I really don’t like really hot drinks and usually let my hot drinks sit until they are lukewarm. When I’m out, I like to get frozen coffee drinks at the coffee shop, but I don’t get there very often.
So, I was thrilled when I received a box of goodies from Seattle’s Best Coffee! Seattle’s Best Coffee has four varieties of frozen coffee blends, and they sent me some coupons to try it out. What I have found is that the grocery store that I normally shop at doesn’t always carry Seattle’s Best Coffee, so I had to wait until I went to Walmart or Target to check out the different flavors available.
I decided to try out the Creamy Caramel, Coffee Chiller, and Mega Mocha. I also saw a Very Vanilla option at Walmart. The first one I decided to try is the Creamy Caramel, but I decided to jazz it up a little.
The instructions on the Seattle’s Best Coffee Frozen Coffee Blends’ bag said to add 10 ounces of my milk of choice along with the bag of frozen coffee blend to the blender. I added some chocolate syrup because I like chocolate with caramel. I only added just a little less than 1/4 cup of the chocolate syrup, but you may prefer to add a little more or a little less. Or maybe none at all. I chose to add Vanilla Almond Milk in the unsweetened variety. This combination was a little on the sweet side, so I don’t think I would add any milk that is already sweetened.
The instructions go on to say to blend on high speed or pulse for 20 seconds until the cubes and milk break up. Then, it says to blend on high speed for 1-2 minutes until the drink is smooth and creamy. Pour into two glasses and serve.
- One bag of Seattle's Best Coffee Frozen Coffee Blends
- 10 ounces unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk
- 1/4 cup of chocolate syrup (approximately)
- Put one bag of Seattle's Best Coffee Frozen Coffee Blends, almond milk, and chocolate syrup into the blender. Pulse for 20 seconds until the coffee cubes are broken up. Blend on high speed for 1-2 minutes until the drink is smooth and creamy. Pour into 2 glasses and serve.
- You may add whipped cream and top with chocolate syrup to make a more special treat.
I enjoy being able to have a delicious frozen coffee drink at home without a lot of fuss and mess!
