Pitsco Catapult and Trebuchet – Science Made Real

December 5, 2011 by Naomi M. 1 Comment

Both children were happy to learn that we were going to be able to "play" while learning with a Pitsco catapult and trebuchet kit.  This kit is called the Medieval Machines Pack and includes a Trebuchet Kit, a Catapult Kit, Pitsco's Siege Machines book, and counter weights for the Trebuchet Kit.  They also sent some Klean Klay to make projectiles.  {I will add here that the … [Read more...] about Pitsco Catapult and Trebuchet – Science Made Real

Are You Searching for the Perfect Christmas Present?

December 1, 2011 by Naomi M. Leave a Comment

I had … [Read more...] about Great Commission Language – Easy French

“F” is for Field Trips – ABCs of Homeschooling

November 16, 2011 by Naomi M. 3 Comments

Well, I'm a day late for ABCs of Homeschooling.  I'm not really surprised because of what happened yesterday.  DS8 had a meltdown after his sister's therapy appointment, and it really threw the rest of the afternoon off.  So, this morning, I realized what probably added to DS8's meltdown.  He is really stuffed up and doesn't seem to be feeling very well. Because DS8 isn't … [Read more...] about “F” is for Field Trips – ABCs of Homeschooling
