Family Summer Bucket List
Most schools are out by now, and I’m sure most people are looking toward summer vacation plans. I used to think that summer meant some big vacation trip, but really, it doesn’t have to be. As many know, we don’t normally take our long vacations in the summer. As homeschoolers, we can work our vacations to fit our family needs a little better. So, we usually take shorter trips or staycations in the summer.
When we think about the things we want to do as a family, everyone has some input. Using a form to list everyone’s ideas and the potential cost is a great way to keep track of all the things the kids (and parents) want to do this summer.
Here are a few things we listed as possible things to do this summer. Of course, we can cross off Hersheypark as we are here right now. (Not that this will be the only time we come here…) Ocean City, NJ is one that I’d love to cross off this summer. We’ve been here three years without making a trip to a fairly local beach, so we’d love to accomplish that this summer.

That’s a great idea to get everyone’s input in the family about what they want to do. Thanks for the idea.
Very cool idea! Thanks for the list.
