Hallmark Keepsake Bouncing All the Way

 Hallmark Keepsake Ornaments

I remember going to the Hallmark store when I was much younger to look at the Hallmark Keepsake ornaments when they came out to see what new ones were there.  I gazed at each one and really couldn’t make up my mind.  Over the years, I’ve picked up a few that were special to me and have memories attached.  Since our kids were born, we have purchased ornaments that will hold memories for them that they will be able to take to their homes when they move out years down the line.  Ornaments that will remind them of growing up and home.

Hallmark offered to send me one of their ornaments.  As I looked at their catalog, I realized the choice was not going to be an easy one.  I called the kids over to help me narrow down the choices.

Bouncing All the Way

One of our choices was this Bouncing All the Way! ornament from the Winnie the Pooh collection.  What made this ornament stand out was the animation.  There is a string on the bottom.  When the string is pulled, music is played, Tigger bounces, and Pooh moves back-and-forth on his sled.  When the ornament arrived, I couldn’t wait to put the batteries in and hang it on the tree.  It was a little heavy, but I found a place on the tree that seems to be able to hold it well.

This ornament is one that my kids will likely fight over when it comes to choosing ornaments when they are grown up.  I did buy them each a new ornament this year.  As soon as I heard the Elsa and Olaf ornaments were online, I quickly headed over to purchase them before they sold out.  Those two ornaments are a hot commodity this year, so I was thankful to get them!  The kids were excited and quickly took them to put them on the tree.  No fighting for those ornaments, and the ornaments will remind the kids of this time in their life.

In my house the Patriots are gods especially when they are winning. So I am going to have to choose the Tom Brady ornament. It would probably have the best spot on the tree.
