The New Year has arrived, and many are busy making their resolutions or goals for 2013. I am trying to make goals, too, but I’m trying to keep it simple this year. Keep it to the minimum that I need to aim for.
Weight. Many of us need to lose weight. How do I plan to accomplish this? Well, I’m not entirely sure. It will depend on things that happen in the next month or so, but it will likely be just by eating less and exercising more.
Family Nights. Because of changes lately, I have more evenings free, so we can spend more evenings together playing games or just even talking. This is a good way to interact with each other, face-to-face. A time to talk together.
Build up my home business. I am still working as a Travel Consultant affiliated with The Magic For Less Travel and would LOVE to help you plan your next Disney vacation! I am also going to start working as a Virtual Assistant, so if you need any VA work done, please use my “Contact” tab above.
Meal Plan. I’ve never been a meal planner, and I like to shop without a list. I know, I know. That’s not the way to do it, but I am striving to do more meal planning this year to make things easier and more cost efficient.
Yes, I have an empty 5 and 6 on my list. Those are things that I have goals for that I can’t make public at this time. There are some things that have happened lately that I can’t talk about yet. The time will come but not now.
Blogging. No, it’s not on my list because I added this after I made the graphic. I want to do more personal blogging. Over the past few months, I have done a lot of giveaways, giving the impression that this is a giveaway-only blog. Because of circumstances beyond my control, I got lax with personal blogging. I want to turn that around and blog more meaningfully in the New Year.
So, what are your resolutions or goals for 2013? Do you ever have goals that you keep to yourself or do you share all of them with your family or friends?
Sherry @ Family, Love and Other Stuff says
We didn’t actually make “resolutions” this year, but decided to just keep working on our goals from last year. Of course, those are the same goals you have listed above, with the exception of home business. Basically, losing a little weight, spending more time as a family and planning our meals.
Good Luck with your list & Happy New Year!
