Emerson Creek Pottery is a U.S. company that still makes their pottery by hand in the U.S. They make all sort of pottery from pet dishes to serving dishes to dinnerware. You really have to read about Emerson Creek Pottery because their history is just so amazing! Their pottery is handmade and hand-painted.
What really amazed me is that they don’t use stencils. Their products are lead-free, oven-proof, and microwave and dishwasher safe.
This particular dish is called a Brie Baker. I’m not a “brie” type of person, but this piece can be used in many different ways. My plan is to use it to make baked dips, like a pizza and cheese dip. It would also make a good dish to use with crackers ringed around and a small cheese ball in the middle.
These Brie Bakers come in 11 different designs. When I was choosing which one I wanted, my daughter came over to look at them, too. I asked her which one she liked, and she said she liked the Summer Peaks design.
Guess what? The great folks at Emerson Creek Pottery has offered one of these Brie Bakers to ONE lucky reader! Also, they have given me a discount code that is good until November 24, 2012. Use the code, pixie2, to receive 20% off $25 or more.
