What’s in the Bible? is from VeggieTales creator Phil Vischer. It is designed to take parents and their kids through the Bible. They are currently on Vol 9, so Genesis through Malachi.
I’ll be the first to say that my family never really got into VeggieTales. It just never appealed to us. However, What’s in the Bible? hits the mark with us. We like the puppetry and the humor that is used to help teach the Bible from a Christian view, not a denominational view.
My son really likes the different characters in this series. Recently, we downloaded a some activities that What’s in the Bible? had available. In this pack, there were cut out finger puppets of the characters. My husband cut them out, and then my son built a puppet theater and put on his own puppet show.
What’s in the Bible? has lots of activities for kids on their website. These activities include coloring pages, Bible flash cards, study guide, and more.
My son really likes What’s in the Bible?, but why don’t you take a peek at this video to check it our for yourself?
