A few weeks ago, I got a notice from the Post Office that I had a package to pick up. I’m glad that things worked out the way they did because I almost missed it. We have moved twice since the end of January, and because we didn’t know that we would purchase a house so soon, it had been sent to our rental house. I’m so glad that this package didn’t get lost because it contained two spectacular books. I will review The World of Animals in this post, and the other book in a later post.
I’ve really been impressed with the quality of the Master Books products that I already own, so I really had high hopes for The World of Animals. I was not disappointed! The World of Animals starts with the simplest of animals and works its way up to the most complex in a beautiful, brightly-colored format.
Look how bright the pages are! Both kids enjoy reading the book, but I think DS9 likes it the best. His reading is improving by leaps and bounds, but he still loves to look at a visually-stimulating book while being read to.
The elephant page is his favorite page in the entire book! He loves elephants, and I love how much detail that Master Books includes in this particular page (many others, too). Look at how much detail there is about the hoof and the trunk!
