Destination Disney – “K” and “L” are for…

Well, after seeing that Heidi (Ramblings, Reflections & Reviews) was late on her “K” post, I don’t feel so bad.  However, I have decided to combine my “K” post with my “L” post to save some precious time.  I hope you enjoy!

I’ll start off with a picture of Kala in Tarzan’s Treehouse.  While Tarzan’s Treehouse is a nice attraction to visit, I still prefer the Swiss Family Robinson version that has gone the way of  Yesterland.  I’m glad that I can still visit the Swiss Family version in the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World.

DD12 loves to go through the Sleeping Beauty Castle Walkthrough.  At the end, we see true love’s kiss.  We then have our friendly battle of words…

“Make it pink!” says DD12.

“No! Make it blue!” I say.

After our visit to Sleeping Beauty’s Castle, we headed to Big Thunder Mtn. Railroad where we rode I.M. Loco.

Of course, I couldn’t post about “L” pictures without mentioning DS8’s favorite Lightning McQueen.  When we went to Disneyland in May for our quickie trip, we weren’t able to see the Cars 2 Lightning McQueen, so that is something that DS8 is looking forward to on our next trip.

And what would a post with “L” and Lightning be without mentioning the upcoming Cars Land.  We are really looking forward to seeing this next year!

My Ian would love nothing more than to see Cars Land – I doubt we’ll ever make it out there, but you never know . . .
