Relaxing in the Big Backyard

May 23, 2012 by Naomi M. 3 Comments

We've been enjoying the beautiful weather lately by just spending some time out in our big backyard.  The other day, we saw this bird carrying a sizable branch.  We were guessing he was working on his nest. The other thing we've been enjoying is picking berries off our bushes as they ripen.  They are so good, juicy, and sweet!     … [Read more...] about Relaxing in the Big Backyard

At Peace in Nature – #WW

May 15, 2012 by Naomi M. Leave a Comment

I took my fairly new camera out on a hike this past weekend and started trying out some of the different settings.  It was so beautiful out! Spring Flowers – Wordless Wednesday

April 4, 2012 by Naomi M. 2 Comments

Spring has sprung, and everyday, it seems that we find more things about our new house.  The people whom we bought it from liked to work in the yard.  While the flowers are beautiful, I have about the brownest thumb around.  I sure hope these plants can grow on autopilot... I do know that the top picture is a yellow rose, but I don't have a clue what these purple flowers are.  … [Read more...] about Spring Flowers – Wordless Wednesday
