Del Monte sent me a variety of their Fruit Burst Squeezers to try as a part of their drive to promote delicious and healthy choices. The Fruit Burst Squeezers come in a pouch, and you don’t need a spoon for it. This makes it a great go-to snack to take on the road.
One of the great things is the variety of flavors: Blueberry, Peach-Mango, Strawberry, Mixed Berry, and Apple Cinnamon. With 5 different flavors, there is one for lunch on every school day of the week. That way, your child will not get bored. These are made with natural fruit or fruit and veggie purees and juices. There are not artificial colors and no high-fructose corn syrup. Better yet, each pouch contains 1 1/2 servings of fruit or fruit and veggies. I don’t know about you, but I have a hard time getting my kids to eat their proper amount of fruit and veggies, so the Fruit Burst Squeezers are a big help in this department.
But, you know, Del Monte does have more that fruit and veggies in pouches. They have the Del Monte Diced Fruit Cup snacks, too. I like to get diced fruit cups to have on hand for “big kid” lunches when needed. Del Monte Diced Fruit Cup snacks come in a large variety, but my favorites are the diced peaches and the mandarin oranges.
Honestly, my son LOVES the Del Monte Fruit Burst Squeezers! His sister tried the strawberry one and didn’t really care for it as she doesn’t like strawberries. My son happily took hers and finished it right off.
How and where to enjoy Del Monte Fruit Burst Squeezers?
- As a snack either after school or during our school work.
- On the go. When we go on a trip or hiking, it is easy to through Del Monte Fruit Burst Squeezers in a cooler or a backpack.
- They work well in lunch boxes, but we don’t normally do lunch boxes in our homeschool.
