The Little Mermaid Diamond Edition – Review

I received a copy of The Little Mermaid for the purpose of the following review.

My children stopped me at the door when they saw the UPS person hand me two padded envelopes.  The first one they opened was an advance copy of The Little Mermaid Diamond Edition on Blu-ray.  Of course, my daughter was really excited to see this show up on our doorstep and was eager to see how good it would look after being cleaned up and put on blu-ray.  We were NOT disappointed!

The restoration of this movie is just remarkable! It is so clear, and the colors are so bright!  There really is not a way to compare our DVD copy with the new restored version.  It is just like a new movie!  I often hear people say that they don’t want to purchase a new movie when they already own it on DVD.  Honestly, this is SO worth the money to upgrade if you have a blu-ray player.

Also, there is more than three hours of bonuses on the diamond edition!  The kids LOVED the crab-E-OKE sing-along.  Just take a look at all the different bonuses:
