Henry Morris Study Bible 1I received The Henry Morris Study Bible from NLPG.  I have to admit that I have several Bibles of different sizes, versions, and types.  Each one has its own purpose.

Henry Morris Study Bible 2This Bible is a massive book with two ribbon bookmarks:  one in the Old Testament, and one in the New Testament.  As you can see, it is over two inches thick.  It is so thick and heavy, in fact, that the binding on this particular Bible broke.  I am very careful with my Bibles, and I haven’t had it long enough for it to have extensive use.

Henry Morris Study Bible 3I LOVE how vivid the red print is in this Bible.

Henry Morris Study Bible 4Can you see the how many notes there are?  I LOVE all the extra information in this Bible.  Of course, I don’t ever take what is said in the extra section as the gospel because it is a person’s interpretation.  I compare what is said with the Bible itself to make my own decisions.

Henry Morris Study Bible 5This Bible has 22 appendices, and I really enjoyed many of the ones that I have had the opportunity to read thus far.  In the one above, Henry Morris shares his defense of the King James Version of the Bible.  I’m pretty close to a purist as far as my preferred version goes.  I do prefer the King James Version or the New King James Version as my primary Bible.

Henry Morris Study Bible 6This is another appendix that I like.  I remember seeing this list somewhere on the Internet a few years ago.  It’s nice to have it right in the Bible for easy reference.

The version of The Henry Morris Study Bible that I was sent for review is available from NLPG for $39.99.  I definitely recommend the interior of this Bible, but I am a little concerned about the strength of the binding in the version that I review.

Disclaimer:  I was sent the above product at no charge for the purpose of this review.  I was not compensated in any other way, nor was I required to give a positive review.
