My family LOVE National Parks!  When we lived in Arizona, we spend a lot of time at National Parks like Grand Canyon National Park, Petrified Forest National Park, and many others.  These National Parks are full of nature and proof of Biblical history.

We were fortunate to be able to review Awesome Science:  Explore Yosemite and Zion National Parks with Noah Justice from Master Books and New Leaf Publishing Group.  Noah Justice is a teenager who is helping teach kids about how nature shows the Biblical truths of creation and the flood.

Noah Justice is an animated speaker who is able to keep up with all the tongue-twisting terms needed to keep up with the scientific theories and facts.  I LOVE how this particular episode tackled radiometric dating and how the granite cliffs of the Sierra Nevadas were formed.  Also, Noah’s explanation of how Zion Canyon’s layers, arches, and hanging valleys were formed made it easier to understand how the secular scientific viewpoint just can’t be true.

We also received the study guide that goes along with this episode of Awesome Science, and let me tell you…  It is FULL of facts!  It actually looks like there is more information in the study guide than in the DVD, if that is even possible.  A study guide is provided with each Awesome Science DVD.

So, what did my kids think about it?  Well, they already know that science is AWESOME, especially when it is combined with God’s word!  My son said that Noah is better than Bill Nye.  Well, Noah is certainly more correct about the flood and the history of the world.

The Awesome Science series is produced by Kyle Justice, Noah’s father.  Mr. Justice has appeared on such networks as National Geographic, ESPN, and the Outdoor Channel.

Awesome Science:  Explore Yosemite and Zion National Parks is available for $14.99, and extra companion study guides are available for $3.99.  This series is AWESOME!

MasterBooks_WebBadges_Sept2012_ABookandABite_300x250On January 17, 2013 at 8:00 pm – 9:00 pm, join the Moms of Master Books for the first party of 2013 featuring the Awesome Science DVD Series. The Moms of Master Books are busy reviewing the three new episodes, so you can know as much about them as possible.

Noah Justice, the host of Awesome Science and his dad, the producer of the show will be at the party to meet you and answer your questions.

Also, you will have a chance to win your own copy of one of the episodes. There is a great pre-party prize and grand prize which will be announced the week of the party.

Disclaimer:  I received a free DVD and study guide for the purpose of this review.  I was not compensated in any other way, nor was I required to post a positive review.

Don’t take my word for it!   Read some other reviews!
