Fireworks Light Show in My Room

Uncle Milton Toys has an eclectic mix of toys, some of which are educational based.  A few of the brands they carry are Ant Farm, National Geographic, and Star Wars.  What I thought looked fun was the Fireworks Light Show in My Room ($34.99).

As Disney fans, we LOVE fireworks!  Well, most of us love fireworks…  DS9 does not like the booming noises, at all.  In fact, he can’t watch fireworks inside the parks, even if he is wearing ear protection.  But, he still like watching them from a distance.

Since we are planning on giving this to DS9 for Christmas, this gave Don and me the opportunity to play with it by ourselves late one night.  Yes, two grownups took this toy in the kitchen and played with it…

This graphic shows the different fireworks images included in this toy.  The device does take 3 AA batteries.  It has a pump action almost like a larger water gun that activates the “booming” sound.  Then, a trigger activates the lights.

This is one of the effects we saw on our ceiling while we played with this.  Obviously, this is not exactly like fireworks; however, it provides a lot of fun projecting your own fireworks on the ceiling.  I can’t wait until DS9 opens this!
