Tamrac Zuma 9 Secure Traveler

I bought my first DSLR camera a few months ago but never found a camera bag that I really liked.  I looked at several different stores and scoured the Internet for just the right camera bag for my needs.  After much looking around, the bag that stood out to me was the Tamrac Zuma 9 Secure Traveler.  I’ve never really liked how most backpacks can be accessed by anyone standing behind me, so I was happy to see a backpack that is more secure.

There is so much space in this bag!  This is the flap that rests up against my back.  There are two levels of pockets great for extra memory chips and cords.  Do you see my iPad sticking out?  It has an Otterbox case on it, and it still fits in the pocket.

The big part of the backpack has so much room for extras!  I currently have my camera with the original lens.  I have an extra lens and a video camera in here.  The part on the right of the picture (really the top of the bag) is a great place for snacks for the kids.  It would also be a good place for chargers and extra camera equipment.  There are also side pockets for a small tripod or a water bottle.  This Zuma 9 camera backpack also comes with a “rain jacket” the covers it up quite nicely.

When I wear this backpack, the flap is against my back preventing entry to the inside of the bag.  There is a waist strap that enables me to slip out of one strap, twist the bag to the front while slipping out of the other strap, and open the bag up to access the camera equipment.  The bag itself is padded nicely, as are the straps.  This is one of the best camera bags that I have seen so far!

Tamrac has many different camera accessories, from bags to tripods.  They also have a new blog that chronicles some of the trips of Tamrac-sponsored photographers.  There are some really great trips listed and are well worth a visit to read.  Head on over and like Tamrac on Facebook for updates and cool contests.
