YAY!!! Spring has Sprung!

Yay for Spring!  I love Spring for several reasons…

Flowers

If you haven’t noticed, yet, I LOVE to take pictures of flowers, trees, mountains, lakes…   Ok.  I love to take pictures of just about anything nature related.  Yes, even snakes and lizards.  However, since some people don’t like things like snakes, I will probably refrain from posting those.

Baby Animals

Instead of snakes, how about this one?  It’s about time to be seeing baby animals.  Yes, I know that this also belongs in the nature category, but he’s so cute!  He wasn’t left totally by himself…  There was an adult or two nearby that I would not have wanted to cross paths with.

Camping

I’m also glad for Spring because it means that we can go camping soon.  The campgrounds should be reopening soon, and I can’t wait to go camping again.  We didn’t get to go last year, and we have a new tent to try out.  The last time we went camping, we found out that we didn’t fit in the old tent anymore.  We had bought it when DD11 was a baby, and it just doesn’t have room for all four of us now because 1/3 of it is a screened “porch”.  It’s a shame because we really like that “porch”!

Cooking Over a Campfire

Along with camping, we love to cook over (and in) an open fire.  If it can be wrapped in foil or put on a stick, it can be cooked in the campfire.  For anything else, we have the camp stove.

So, I guess I can dream of Spring because our forecast for today and tonight is rain, snow, and wind…
