Mom’s Weekly Planner

I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but things have been getting busier around here.  Don’t get me wrong because I’m not complaining…  It’s exciting to see!  However, keeping up with giveaways and keeping my writing for three blogs straight has necessitated my looking for a new planner just for blogging.

The same company, Peter Pauper Press, that published The Little Black Book of Disney that I gave away a month or so ago, has planners, as well.  As I looked at pictures of this 18-month calendar (2013 Mom’s Weekly Planner), I realized how substantial this planner is.

Each month starts with a full month view complete with holidays and phases of the moon.

Then, comes the weekly views.  As you can see, each day goes across one page with five vertical columns.  One is labeled “Mom” and the other four are blank.  I suppose, that as a “Mom’s Planner”, the blanks could be used for a husband and up to three kids.  However, that isn’t the way I’m using it.  I have found that it works best for me as one for each of the two blogs that I primarily write for and the other two blanks work well for each of my children.

See how I have the columns color coded?  Green for my personal column, Blue for Pixie Dusted Homeschool, Purple for The Mouse For Less Blog, Pink for DD13, and I will repeat Blue for DS9.  This is a great planner for bloggers because you can either use the blank columns to manage multiple blogs, or you can use the columns to manage different aspects of the same blog (i.e. Reviews, Giveaways, Personal Posts, Group Giveaways).

At the end of the 18th month (December 2013) is a 2014 calendar and the address book.  I do keep most of my addresses in my phone but have had them disappear at times, so I will likely put important addresses in my planner at some point.

This planner ends with pages of To-Do lists and a sheet for business cards.  Do you see how the To-Do pages are perforated?  That way, I can make my list and tear it out.  I only have to use 1/2 the page.

I really like how versatile and substantial the 2013 Mom’s Weekly Planner is!  I think it is the ultimate in blogging planners, and the $19.99 price tag makes it a cost efficient option.

Peter Pauper Press has graciously offered one of these planners to one lucky reader.  If you would like to enter, please read the rules below and proceed to the Rafflecopter widget to enter.

Giveaway starts at 1:45 am EST on September 10, 2012 and ends at 12:01 am EST on September 24, 2012.  The winner will be chosen by Random.org via Rafflecopter and will have 48 hours to respond after being contacted by email.  Please make sure to use a valid email address.  Open to U.S. residents 18 years old and older.  No purchase is necessary to win.  Void where prohibited.  Odds of winning depend on the number of entries collected.  Facebook, Twitter, and Google+ do not endorse this or sponsor this giveaway.  Nor are Facebook, Twitter, or Google+ affiliated with this blog in any way.  Full set of rules.

Nice planner!! I recently bought one just for blogging, too, but mine doesn’t have a weekly view. It’s got the monthly grid and the notes column down the side. I NEED one with a weekly view! Super cute– I’d love to win it!

I’d love to have a red planner like that. I already have a planner in a three-ring-binder, but it’s a bit bulkier than I’d like.

I think the watercolor birds is just really bright and pretty. But honestly, I kind of like them all for different reasons. 🙂

I was just thinking that it’s about time to order a new planner! How timely!
Anyway, I’d be fine with any of the designs. If I were to choose, I’d probably pick the red one, but I like the other ones too!
