I find that as I get busier with blogging, schooling, and working; I need more organization!  I’ve tried organizing on my computer/iPhone, but I find it hard to follow little dots on my calendar.  I’ve tried free online calendar sources, but it often takes more time to enter the information than what I want to do.  I think I am better off with a written planner…

Home Educating Family sent me an On the Go planner, so I could try it out.  There are a LOT of features in it that I like and will work well for me.

The planner includes pages for notes and pages to help keep track of major homemaking projects, as well as, daily cleaning.

I LOVE how each month has a “Monthly Management” page to keep track of money matters.  I currently keep a separate notebook for bills, so it will be nice to keep everything in one place.

I feel that the weekly calendar pages are well-laid out with different ways to organize my plans.  The top part has plenty of room to keep track of my goals for each day.  I plan on using different colored pens for each area of responsibility.  Just below that, the squares are divided by 3-hour blocks of time.  The bottom squares?  A spot for dinner plans.

Overall, I think this is a great planner; however, there are a couple of things that I would like to see changed.  I would like to see the cover be a little heavier weight of cardstock.  Since this is something that I will carry in my bag, I’m anxious to see if the cover makes it completely through an entire year.  Also, I like to close my planner when it is not in use, so I would like to see a tab for each month.  That way, I can open to the correct month easily.  The first thing I did (after taking pictures) was to put my own tabs on the first page of each month.  The current price for the On the Go planner is $15.95, and I think this is a good price; however, I would be willing to pay more for heavier covers and tabs.

Follow Home Educating Family on Twitter and “Like” them on Facebook to keep up with news or sales on their family of planners.

Now, thanks to the Home Educating Family, I am giving away one copy of the On the Go planner to one of my readers!

Please read the Terms & Conditions section of the Rafflecopter widget.  Disclaimer:  I received a free copy of the On the Go planner for the purpose of posting this review.  The opinions stated above are my own, and I can’t wait until July 1 when my busy schedule can be combined in one place.
