Bondi Band Headbands

My daughter and I both have thick, heavy hair, so I had been looking for a good way to keep the hair out of our face and off of our foreheads through the summer heat.  When I saw the Bondi Band headbands, I just knew that we had to try these!

Obviously, we are not marathon runners, so I chose to try out one of the fashion (Lycra) headbands.  I’m going to state right off that their available prints do change quickly, and the print that we chose is no longer available.

One of the main things that I was concerned about, with such a wide band, was the back of the band that would go under my hair at my neck.  Many headbands that I have tried in the past was the same width all the way around, so the back would always slip up.  I should not have worried with the “No Slip, No Drip” slogan on the Bondi Band website.  The part in the back…

is gathered so that it stays in place nicely.  I will say that the only time I had any problem with slippage was when my hair was completely down.  Did I mention I have really thick hair?  DD12’s hair is shorter, and she didn’t have any problem with slipping with normal use.

DD12 has really bonded with Bondi Band, and she enjoys wearing it.  In fact, I just ordered a few more, including a heavy wicking one for her to wear.  I’m just thrilled to find something that she enjoys wearing that will keep her hair off her forehead.

Bondi Band has other choices, as well, like armbands and wrist bands, design your own Bondi Bands, and wicking hats.  I think their prices are reasonable ($8 for the item we reviewed) and in many cases cheaper than most regular headbands.  My daughter and I recommend Bondi Bands wholeheartedly!

Now…  Who would like to win their own Bondi Band?  The winner will get to choose his/her own “regular” Bondi Band (not to include hats, armbands, wrist bands, “design your own”, or anything of the more expensive variety).  Giveaway ends at 12:01 am EST on June 17, 2012.

Please make sure to read the Terms & Conditions contained in the Rafflecopter.  Disclaimer:  I received a free Bondi Band for the purpose of this review.  My daughter and I enjoyed the Bondi Band so much that we have purchased 4 more.  The opinions contained in this review are our own.
