If you have the chance to see this movie this weekend, I highly recommend it! I was fortunate to be able to attend an online screening of this movie last week, and it was such a great, heartwarming movie that the whole family enjoyed. In fact, DD12 immediately asked to get it on Blu-ray, so I had to explain that it had not even made it to the theater, yet.
Bailee Madison plays the main character (Ida). She gives such a convincing portrayal of a girl with a mission that no one can stop her from. I could see and feel her pain and drive. Such a believable performance!
Other stars in this movie: Alicia Witt, Jackson Rathbone, and James Cromwell.

I can’t recommend this movie enough as a family-friendly movie that the whole family can enjoy watching together. This movie is rated PG. Did I mention it was filmed in Oklahoma? 🙂
