Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff!

I’m excited to be a part of the Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff for Moms Community!  Our community is here to share a great new book which is the first in the Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff series in nine years.  Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff for Moms by Kristine Carlson.

I don’t know about you, but as a mom, I stress about many things every day.  Is my house clean enough?  Is the food on the table when needed?  Are the kids learning what they should?  Is my husband taken care of?  Have I paid all the bills?  Did I remember to pick up the loaf of bread?

Yes, I am the perfectionist, but Kristine’s first chapter spoke volumes to me.  “When we make space for imperfection and mistakes, we give our kids a chance to deepen themselves and to become more true to themselves and real as they grow up.  Abandoning perfectionism is such a relief for us, and them.”  This is something that I need to work on.

I have not had a chance to read the entire book because I was anxious to share this book with you, but I look forward to reading this book from cover-to-cover (babies-to-adult children).  What’s nice about the layout of this book is that each section is only about 3 pages long, so each section can be read in a short time.

You can sign up here to get the first chapter of Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff for Moms for free!  You can also purchase Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff for Moms online at Amazon or Barnes and Noble.

And now, I get to giveaway a free copy of Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff for Moms to one of you!  Please enter through the Rafflecopter.
