This is a list of the things that I have been thankful for during the last week and is being linked up with the 2011 Gratitude Challenge on Garden of Learning.

Our family has been so blessed over this last week that it is difficult to know where to begin.

  • We have been blessed by DD12’s physical therapist who does a marvelous job making therapy appointments as interesting as possible.
  • We are thankful for the kids’ former occupational therapist who is still interested in their medical appointments and takes the time to stop and visit, even though we no longer have appointments with her.
  • Our family continues to be blessed to be a part of the TOS Crew.  Without them, we would never have been introduced to some wonderful products that have made the kids’ learning more fun and, therefore, more productive.
  • I, personally, am very thankful that Don is off this weekend and that he is not on call.  He has worked quite a few hours this week, so it is nice to have him home.  The kids are enjoying playing some games with him right now.
  • We are thankful for our new specialist who called us on Monday and called our pediatrician on Friday to work out the details of our next step.
  • We continue to be blessed by our pediatrician who is easily the best physician we have ever been to.  She called on Tuesday evening to see what the specialist had told us, and she called on Friday to relay instructions for further appointments.  She is truly a Godsend.
  • We are thankful for a cat who is relaxed and puts up with just about anything that DS8 dishes out.

I can certainly appreciate the way caring doctors can bless your life. While I’m thankful for the ones we had before we moved last year, I really wish God would send a few more into our lives.

I certainly hope that He sends a few more your way, too!
