Destination Disney – “R” is for…

This week, we are on the letter “R” over at Heidi’s Head, and I have a couple of Christmas “R” pictures for you.  I know it is early for Christmas; however, it has already come to our house.

After Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, our Christmas decorations go up around the house.  Well, this year DS8 is more aware of holidays and has been really confused by the fact that Grandma and Grandpa up in Canada have already celebrated Thanksgiving.  After he wished them a Happy Thanksgiving, he asked for Christmas music.  No, we don’t have the tree up, yet, but I’m not sure if we can hold him off until Thanksgiving, either.

So, on to the “R” pictures…

In Santa’s Reindeer Round-up, Reindeer Pluto can sometimes be seen prancing around.  This is also where Santa and Mrs. Claus can be found greeting guests.

One of DS8’s many favorite attractions is Monsters Inc. Mike and Sulley to the Rescue!  “Why?” you may ask.  I’m not really sure, but it may be because the wait for this attraction is rarely long.  Roz has some funny lines at the end of the attraction and can even sing the Happy Birthday song.  Even “cranky” Roz gets in the Christmas spirit!

DD12’s new favorite princess, Ariel, has extremely red hair.

DS8 has always loved riding on trains, and Disneyland is no different.  We all love to ride the Disneyland Railroad, especially, when we get to ride in the Lilly Belle.

Both kids like to explore Redwood Creek Challenge Trail in Disney California Adventure Trail, especially, now that Doug and Russell from UP have set up their Wilderness Explorer Camp.

I couldn’t write a post about “R” without including one of DS8’s favorite starspeeder captains.  Although DS8 loves the new Star Tours, he misses Captain Rex; although, he can see Captain Rex closer, now that he is in the queue.

That brings me to the end of the “R” pictures for the week.  Next week…. “S”.
