Master Lock Door Security Bar

Master Lock Door Security Bar

I don’t know about you, but safety is one of the most important things for me.  Whether we are traveling or at home, I like to know that we are safe, and no one will be able to enter the house.  Now, we have a great neighborhood with no concerns, but it wasn’t always that way.  There have been time when the neighborhood we lived in at that time wasn’t so safe, and I wish I had a Master Lock Door Security Bar for extra security.

The Master Lock Door Security Bar is expandable and easy to use.  It can be used for most sliding and hinged doors, according to the packaging.  I think of all the years that I used a piece of wood in my sliding door, but now, I could use a bar made of 20 gauge steel.

While I don’t currently have any concerns with my neighborhood, there are times on vacation when I drive until I really can’t drive anymore.  At that time, I look for the best place to stay.  Of course, we try to shoot for a more suburban area, but sometimes, we end up stopping in questionable areas.  Now, I travel when my Master Lock Door Security Bar in the back of my vehicle, so I can use it at my hotel if I have any concerns.  It really doesn’t take up much room.  Don put it in the back of the car between luggage, and it took up the room of a small umbrella.

Doesn’t the Master Lock Door Security Bar sound like a great safety feature to take along on road trips or even have at home?  The security bar is available on the Master Lock website for $26.73.  You can also find it at stores like Walmart and Home Depot.

Disclosure:  I was provided with a free Master Lock Door Security Bar for the purpose of this review.  All opinions are my own, and I really wish I had one of these when I had a sliding door!
