As a foodie, these foods you have to try at Disneyland are sure to be on your list of things to do while in the park. Admittedly, Disneyland is just as much about rides as it is about the food. From fun treats that kids will love to the amazing cuisine that will suit even the most gourmet tastes, Disneyland has incredible food. Plan ahead for your next trip and make sure to not miss out on any of these delicious foods.
7 Foods You Have To Try At Disneyland
The Monte Cristo At Blue Bayou
This deep fried sandwich dusted in powdered sugar is seriously delicious, but the ambiance makes it that much better. This is a pricey choice, but it is also a great large meal that is easy to share with your spouse, kids, or friends. Definitely enough food for two people. As a side note, you can also pick up the Monte Cristo over at Cafe Orleans.
Mint Julep At Mint Julep Cafe
You just can’t leave the park without a refreshing mint julep, and this cafe is the place to go. These are great for cooling off on a hot day, and since they are non-alcoholic, the kids will love them as well. You can also have a cool mint julep with your meal at Cafe Orleans. Just a warning… People either love mint juleps or don’t like them at all. There doesn’t seem to be much middle ground on this. I will say that I am in the “LOVE” camp!
Beignets At Mint Julep Cafe
Yes, two items appear from this location, but they are totally worth it. These beignets are exactly like you want them. Light, fluffy, sweet, delicious melt in your mouth morsels of love covered in a dusting of powdered sugar. The beignet above was served to my son when we celebrated his birthday at Cafe Orleans.
Mickey Ice Cream Sandwich
Mickey ears ice cream sandwiches, fudge bars, and ice cream bars are foods you have to try at Disneyland. They are delicious, but mostly, they are unique to the park and make you and the kids smile. Worth every penny.
Peanut Butter & Jelly Soda At Carnation Cafe
You love the sandwich, but the soda is an acquired taste. It makes the list because the kids will absolutely love this. The flavor is unique, but it is really a yummy taste. There are tons of other great soda flavors to test out at the Carnation Cafe as well, so if this isn’t your cup of tea, you can choose something else instead.
Dole Whip
Non-dairy and gluten-free, a Dole Whip is a great delicious cold treat that everyone will love. This pineapple-blended treat is sweet, refreshing, and just light enough to satisfy your sweet tooth without feeling heavy like traditional ice cream may be.
Bread Bowl Soups At Royal Street Veranda
If you want a fairly cheap yet seriously delicious and satisfying hot meal, the soup selections in bread bowls are amazing. Not only is the bread great, but the soups themselves are full of flavor and will be perfect, even in the heat of summer.
Honorable Mention – Churro
My daughter would not let me put up a post about Disneyland food without including the awesome, delicious churro! The soft middle dough is surrounded by a somewhat crispy outer “shell” that is rolled in cinnamon and sugar. We can’t go to Disneyland without having a churro!
These foods you have to try at Disneyland are truly delicious. From classics to the crazy flavor combinations of soda, you’ll love testing out these unique foodie favorites throughout the happiest place on earth.

My son would agree on the churros. I think he’d live on them during our visits if we let him! Fortunately, he also likes the bread bowl soups at Pacific Wharf so we can get something else in him.

I’d love to try the bread bowl soups and the Dole whip – oh boy, it would make it worth waiting in lines with the sun beating down on my head!
