AMD FX APU – HP Envy Touchsmart Laptop

I’m in the process of finalizing everything that we will need for the next school year.  I know, it is only April, but this month is when many curriculum companies offer discounts.  I have my list ready, and many of the courses are going to be online for Songbird next school year.  Since she is going to be a Sophomore, I want to make sure she is fully computer literate.  Marvel Boy will have a couple of classes online, too.  So, I am considering purchasing two lower priced laptops, so they can work together at the dining room table.

While I don’t want to spend a lot of money on these computers, I do want to make sure they are a good product.  We have an older HP laptop right now, and we have a great HP Envy 5660 printer that we LOVE to death!  So, I think I will be looking to get two HP laptops.  When I head out to look at them, I’ll be going to our local Best Buy.  I love being able to check out several different types at once, and Best Buy always seems to have a great selection.

The new AMD FX APU – HP Envy Touchsmart Laptop looks like it might be a perfect fit for what we are looking for.  Take a look at the specifics:

  • Contains AMD’s most powerful mobile processer to deliver a great gaming and entertainment experience
  • Makes multitasking a breeze.  The quick AMD FX series processor is great for daily tasks such as managing your personal life or streaming movies or videos and provides great video quality for gaming or catching up on your favorite youtube videos.
  • Introduces mobile systems with AMD’s highest performing APUs, exclusively at Best Buy.

I can’t wait to try this laptop out in person!

Disclosure:  The reviewer has been compensated in the form of a Best Buy Gift Card and/or received the product/service at a reduced price or for free.

I love this laptop. I think it would be great for my son. He’s in high school and is a gamer. It sounds like the HP Envy would be perfect!
