5 Scholarships Your High School Senior May Qualify for This Year

If your senior is heading to college next year, now is the time to qualify for scholarships.  Scholarships are a way to pay for college that your teen does not have to pay back.  However, there are typically several qualifications to having a scholarship awarded to you.  Check out these 5 scholarships that your high school senior may qualify for this year.

Ventures Scholars Program

Are you looking for a scholarship that will pay a large sum of money for your first year of college?  The Ventures Scholars Program is a national program that’s designed to help college bound seniors pursue their college dreams.  You can learn more about this scholarship opportunity by visiting http://venturescholar.org/.

AMT Student Scholarships

This is one scholarship that’s given to a student who may have a financial need.  The scholarship can be used to cover tuition costs and is sent directly to the school of the winner’s choice.  If you win this scholarship, you will be notified by the early summer.  Learn more about this scholarship and apply right here.

A Voice for Animals

This is a scholarship that has prizes up to $6,000.  You can apply for this scholarship up until May 25th of this year.  You can even attend highschool anywhere in the world, and you don’t need to be just a highschool senior to apply!  You can learn more about this scholarship opportunity right here.

Girls Impact the World Film Festival

Raise awareness for critical issues going on in the world and win money to go to college with the Girls Impact the World Film Festival.  Submissions have to include a 3-5 minute short film.  Anything and everything you need to know about this scholarship is listed right here.

21st Century Healthcare Works

Experience a healthcare scholarship in which–“The program goal is to assist unemployed, economically disadvantaged individuals in successfully entering or advancing in the Healthcare field by providing classroom training and supportive services.”  Apply for this scholarship by visiting this link.
