A couple of years ago, I broke down and purchased a Canon Rebel DSLR camera. I was a little intimidated by all the controls, but my old camera was worn out, and I needed a change. I was blogging more and needed a better camera to share what we were doing and where we had been. What I found was that while there was a lot of controls, there was also a lot of variety of shots that could be taken.
I’ve always loved taking macro shots, and this camera was the best at taking macro shots of all the cameras I had owned.
Of course, it is also great at far away shots! This is a good thing because I love to have LOTS of reminders of our family’s trips to Disney, as well as other places we visit.

I would love to win this for my mother. She turned her life around five years ago and I couldn’t be more proud of her. She quit smoking and began to eat healthy. I don’t know so much about deserve, but I want to document a number of things for my mom and grandparents who are in bad health. They have an old farm that isn’t occupied and I would like to go down to it and capture some images before everything is worn away to share with them and future generations.
Well it would be for my daughter. She deserves this because she is a honor student who works very hard. She wants to take photography classes. I just can not afford a nice camera for her.
i dont know i deserve to win this more than the next person but never had a nice camera cant afford it ,this would be great to take pics of the autistic kids at my sons class they do so many amazing things that i would love to capture and document this sure would be great for so many involved thanks for the chance
I hope this is where my comment goes. I deserve to win this because the camera that I have now is at least 10 years old and all of the words are faded on the dials. The charging system doesn’t always work, so sometimes it says fully charged but after a few photos it will die. BOO
I would love this camera because right now I just have a cheap one, my phone takes better pictures! I would love to be able to take better pictures!

The last camera I bought was around 7 yrs ago and with recently having had a baby, I would love to be able to get some high quality shots of him as he’s growing up.

I don’t necessarily think I deserve this. but I can tell you how much I would love to win it. I have 3 wonderful kids and one on the way. Taking pictures of them is my favorite thing to do ( though they all have a different opinion on that ) They haven’t had it easy but no matter what they never argue with me to take pics because they know how happy it makes me. My walls are covered with pictures of them, not sure how much room I will have left for the new one 🙂 I would love this camera so I can continue to to make memories for myself and my kids. IAhter losing my 4 tear old son to cancer in 1996 I wish I ad more photos but I had no camera so I relied on family to give me pictures. Now I’m grandma and great grandma. This would allow me to keep my own special memories!

I’ve been trying to save up for a dslr camera for about a year now but due to school and life constraints I haven’t been able to dedicate the proper funding for it.
