I received the products below in hopes that I would share my thoughts about them with you.

Nancy B's Science Club from Educational Insights

We are big science fans here!  My husband and I both have degrees in science, and our kids LOVE science, too.  I think back to when I was a kid, and there really weren’t many science items that were made especially for kids with questioning minds.  Today, Nancy B’s Science Club provides just that.  Science items like a telescope (MoonScope), a scope to look at items under the water (AquaScope), and binoculars.  We received one of each of these items.

Nancy B is a former science teacher and mother of two who developed this line of science-themed educational toys after her children asked for a microscope.  Many, if not all, of her products are “Parent’s Choice” award winners.

Nancy B's Science Club Binoculars

I’ll start with the binoculars ($16.99)  This is a good set of starter binoculars for the younger set (aged 8+).  The binoculars are 4x magnification and have a compass attached.  One of the things that I really like about the Nancy B’s Science Club offerings is that they include activity books that use the product to lead your child to learn.

Nancy B's Science Club Binoculars Use

Here’s my son using the binoculars.  I wanted you to be able to see the size of these binoculars.  They are very small, as you can see in this picture.  My son’s hands are adult-sized, so hopefully, you can get an idea of the size.

Nancy B's Science Club MoonScope

Nancy B’s Science Club’s MoonScope is a nice size for the younger (aged 8+) to handle.  It’s light-weight and has 90x magnification.  It also has an activity book that teaches about things like the moon’s phases.  The real nice thing about this  telescope is that it is easy for the kids to set up by themselves.  There is no stand to set up and mount the scope to.  At $49.99, it seems reasonable priced.

Nancy B's Science Club AquaScope

This is Nancy B’s Science Club’s AquaScope ($39.99).  We have not had the opportunity to try this one out yet but look forward to finding a stream nearby to use it to study under the water.  This telescope has small LED lights on the end that goes in the water in order to light up area being viewed.  It has a ruler and a thermometer built right into the side of the scope.  The AquaScope has up to 5x magnification and is designed to allow the child to see under water without getting wet.  Of course, my kids will find a way to get wet anyway…

Now, I get to give away TWO of the above products (Binoculars and AquaScope)!  Would you like to enter for the chance to win these two items?  Then, read the rules below and enter on the Rafflecopter.
