My Bag Essentials

My Bag Essentials

I carry a large bag.  Ok, it is a VERY large bag!  I do so because there are several things that I need on a day-to-day basis.  Ready to take a look at my bag essentials?

My Bag Essentials

Planner and colored pens

With full time work, appointments, and some fun things added in, I LIVE by my planner.  My monthly view is in multiple colors with each color representing a different person or subject.  Work is black, my personal appointments are purple, Marvel Boy’s appointments are blue, Songbird’s appointments are pink, and Don’s are green.  That makes it easy to see who has what going on.

Wallet

Ok, this is a no-brainer, but I carry my wallet with me.  But I don’t just have ID or money in there.  It’s always important to carry your health insurance card because you never know when you might need them when you are on the road.  Also, I have a habit of making last minute side trips, so I ALWAYS have my Hersheypark passes with me.

Mints and Gum

I like to have something I can pop in my mouth to freshen my breath or just to give me a pick-me-up between meals.  Since I’m on a diet, I like to stick with sugar-free or natural sweetening, and Pur fits that bill as they have kicked Aspartame down the road in favor of natural sweeteners.

I love all the flavors I’ve tried, but I think my favorite is tangerine tango!  The mints are smooth, sizable, and have just the right amount of flavor.  The bags are a great size to fit in my purse pocket without taking up too much space.

Are you looking to kick Aspartame down the road?  Check out pur mints at purmints.com and save $10 on your purchase with the code above!  I know the graphic says the code is already expired, but it is valid through August 31, 2015.

External Battery

I’m sure you know by now that I take a LOT of photos!  Unfortunately, taking a lot of photos and sharing on social media is a real drain on the battery, so I always make sure I am able to recharge on the run.

Hand Sanitizer

Obviously, this is not technically in my bag because it is hanging off the strap.  Hand Sanitizer is a “must carry” especially during cold and flu season.  Sometimes, it isn’t an option to find a place to wash my hands, so I have my hand sanitizer available for those times.

Umbrella

I don’t always carry an umbrella, but we have had so much rain this spring/summer that I keep an umbrella ready just in case.

What is in your bag every day?
