K’NEX Building Sets

DS11 LOVES to build things with his hands!  When these K’NEX building sets arrived in the mail, he couldn’t wait to tear into the box!  He took them out and looked them over to decide which one he wanted to build with first.  Here’s what we received:

  • Cat Mario Building Set ($34.99)
  • Cone Mech Building Set ($16.99
  • Militia Pilot Attack Building Set ($12.99)
  • 35 Model Ultimate Building Set ($24.99)

K'NEX 35 Model Ulitmate Building Set

My son loves to play with K’NEX, and I think one of the reasons is that there are so many things that can be made from these building sets.  He can also let his imagination work, too.  Also, K’NEX takes a little more pressure to fit the pieces together.  This helps DS11 work on strengthening his fingers and working with his motor-planning.

K'NEX Super Mario 3D World

After looking each kit over, DS11 decided to build the Cat Mario Building Set.  I think he liked the fact that it was interactive after being completed.

Reading the instructions

He pulled out the instructions and pieces and went straight to work.  I love watching him analyze the pieces.  I also love that the instructions are easy enough for him to follow and build by himself.

Building with K'NEX

He sat there for a long time putting every piece where it needed to go.  The building set kept his attention until he finished putting it together.

Finished Cat Mario Building Set

He had a great time building it, but I think he had an even better time playing with it afterward.  There are so many K’NEX building sets to choose from that I think it would take a long time to make it through all the sets available.  Well, I don’t think he ever would, but I’m sure he would love to try!

If you are looking for building sets that will spark the imagination and allow your child to build multiple shapes, check out what K’NEX has to offer!  You can check them out on Facebook, Pinterest, and Instagram.
