Thank you Gumdrop Cases for sending me cases to try out and share with my readers.

Gumdrop Cases

I received two cases from Gumdrop Cases to try out:  iPhone 5 and iPad.  I love that there are so many color choices, and I had a really hard time deciding what colors I wanted.  I ended up getting cases that are a combination of blue and pink, two of my favorite colors.

Gumdrop iPhone 5 Case

Here is the iPhone case ($22.45) before I put my iPhone in it.  The hard plastic goes around the front of the phone and contains a built-in screen cover.  The blue rubber-type part goes around the back of the phone and holds the front part on.  One of my favorite parts of this phone case is that the blue part isn’t slippery.  That is a huge thing for me because I am constantly taking my phone in and out of my pocket.  Plus, the kids frequently pick up my phone on the run, and with the non-slip surface, it doesn’t fall as frequently.  As far as the protection factor, I think this case would protect as well if not better than most cases.  But as a disclaimer, I should say that I have not dropped this phone in this case, so I can’t attest directly to its protection factor.

iPhone

Here is my phone in its snazzy case.  It may be a little bulky for some, but I like how comfortable it is to hold the phone.

Gumdrop iPad Case

I also received an iPad case ($59.95).  As you can see, it is very similar to the iPhone case.  I like this case, but I think the one thing that I miss is something to cover the screen with.  There is a built in screen protector, so you won’t need to get one of those.

iPad

Here is my iPad in the case.  I love the ability to grip the iPad without the fear of it slipping.

I love the pink case and like the non-slip as you stated. I have an IPAD and an IPhone 4S, I’m a little paranoid with both of these because they are slippery. The case on your phone doesn’t look any bulkier than the otter box. If I win, I would like the Pink IPad cover, thanks 🙂
