I received the products below free of charge for the purpose of this review.

VitaCost 2

I had seen several bloggers mention Vitacost before, but I had never tried their products or services before.  A while back, Vitacost offered me the chance to try a few of their products from a small selection.  You can see most of the products they sent me in the photo above.

I’ll start with the Vitamin Friends Vegetarian Multi-vitamins.  It is really hard to find vegetarian gummy vitamins for kids, so I’m glad that it is an option here.  These vitamins remind me of the flavor of the old-fashioned acerola vitamin C chewables.  If you are not familiar with those, the flavor is on the tart side.  My son likes the tart taste just fine, but my daughter would not be thrilled with the taste.  The cost is $7.79 for 90 gummies.

The next on the list is the Himalayan Fine Pink Salt.  I had never tried Himalayan salt before, but it had a nice subtle flavor to it.  Not overly salty.  The current cost for this is $5.29 for 6 oz.

I also got to review the Kiss My Face Kids 110% Natural Sun Stick SPF 30.  I have linked you to the blue color, but I was actually sent the pink one.  White is also available, and I wish I had been sent the white.  When you see PINK and BLUE listed, that is the color you will see on your child until the sun screen wears off.  Since this is a stick form, it will take some time or a lot of rubbing to get it off.  Trust me on this because I did put some on both my kids.  My daughter liked it; however, my son was none too thrilled with it.  We scrubbed pretty hard to get it off of him.  While it is good that the sun stick stays on well, it is not good if you don’t want your child in the wrong color.  This product is currently available for $5.55.

VitaCost 1

I also got to try 3 sample sizes of Bob’s Red Mill cereals.  They were a nice variety and tasty.  There are many Bob’s Red Mill products on the Vitacost website; however, I was unable to find the exact links for the samples I was given.

Honestly, I felt the products that Vitacost carries is a nice variety and several items that are likely hard to find otherwise.  The prices looked good; however, I have not had time to comparison shop to see what the prices are elsewhere.  I certainly think that Vitacost is worth a look when looking for more organic and health-conscious products.

Disclosure:  I received the above-mentioned items free of charge for the purpose of this review.  I received no other compensation, nor was I required to give a positive review.
