I want to thank Oriental Trading for sending me several items at no charge to try out for the following review.

Oriental Trading 2

In May, we moved from our home in Oklahoma.  In Oklahoma, we had a dedicated schoolroom where we could spread out during the school day, and when the day was over, we could simply close the door and transition from school to home.  Now, we are back to schooling in the dining room.  It has been a hard transition, but several of the items that Oriental Trading sent me has made organizing our school area much more simple and clean.

Oriental Trading 1

To start off with, Oriental trading sent me some DIY Cardboard Memory Boxes ($9.25 for 6).  There are two each of three different sizes.  These boxes are white cardboard, so we covered them in construction paper and used stickers and stampers to decorate them.

Oriental Trading Memory Boxes

Here are my daughter’s finished boxes.  I LOVE these memory boxes!  A few things have already been added to the boxes, and the kids enjoy having one place to store things that are important to them.

Oriental Trading 4

The Classroom Book Organizer Storage Bins ($27.50) are my favorite things in the box!  These have really helped us organize our school books in our small cabinet.  When it is time for history, we just grab that bin of books.

Oriental Trading 3

The Dry Erase Sleeves in bright colors ($12.75 for 12) is another big hit!  I have not found a good place to hang my white board, yet, so these Dry Erase Sleeves are acting as my white board, DD13’s sheet to work math problems, and DS10’s drawing space.  These have a lot of uses that I’m sure we haven’t discovered, yet.  Now, the Dry Erase Markers ($6.25 per set)…  I found these to be on the dry side, and they didn’t seem to work as well as some dry erase markers that I already had on hand.  Since I already had lots of dry erase markers, I didn’t say anything to Oriental Trading about it, so I’m not sure if I just got a bad set or not.

Clear File Folder Pocket

Finally, I got to try out the Clear File Folder Pocket Chart ($16,50).  I used my favorite sticky product to attach the pocket chart to the side of my book cabinet.  I’m hoping that this will help keep our homeschool on track.  (No, it’s not quite in full-swing, yet.)  Right now, both kids have therapy appointments on separate days, and one is usually left at home with their dad.  This way, I hope to leave work to do for the one who is at home, so the school time can continue even though I’m not home.

Oriental Trading Gift Card Giveaway

I want to thank Oriental Trading for helping to organize our homeschool in our new home.  I couldn’t have done it so neatly and concisely without their products!  Oriental Trading has offered a $25 gift card to one of my readers!  Whether you homeschool or not, Oriental Trading has lots of products to organize your homeschool or crafts to keep your kids occupied.  Things to do in groups or just in the family.  If you’d like to enter, read the rules below and enter on the Rafflecopter widget below.

I would buy stuff like the temporary tattoos. I have a niece and nephew that are 3 and 2 and they both are in love with them things. They’re daddy has a tattoo on his back and my nephew thinks he’s just like daddy. They are too cute.

I would first buy some of the dry erase sheets that you have, because we need something like that for math. Then, I’d buy some coloring books and some of the dinosaur toys I’ve seen on their site

Thanks for the review on the Dry Erase Sleeves, I was wondering if they were worth the $13. If I win the gift card I will be ordering Dry Erase Sleeves and some more wall charts from OT, I love their wall charts for our homeschool room.

I’d probably get some awesome goodies for the halloween trick or treat bags and maybe those straw like mats (awesome for camping, such as putting in the tent or outside the tent) and they are really cheap but durable.

Oh goodness! I have a whole wish list on that site! Haha First things first, I need those organizer bins! I would keep my kids’ notebook and folders in there so that we stay organized and they know what subject to work on. (I have 3 kids homeschooling this year for our first time!) Thank you for this exciting contest!
