Great News!

BoxesSo, I have some great news!  I’ve had to keep things quiet until now, but we are moving again!  We hadn’t planned on moving again so soon, and nothing had been set in stone until a few weeks ago.  I couldn’t say anything until all the i’s were dotted, and the t’s were crossed.  Now that the details are finalized, we are waiting for the official moving date.  Yay!  We’re looking forward to a new adventure!

After much searching for a new home, we finally found one that would let us keep our cat.  This was a major thing because many of the rentals would not accept pets at all.  No discussion!  We feel that this house and the landlord are going to be a really good fit for us.

While everything is in limbo, we are crate-schooling.  You might wonder what crate-schooling is…  That’s when the bare necessities of books are kept in a plastic crate, so we can school every day.  The crate also makes it easy to transport our books with us in the car rather than packing them and putting them in the moving truck.

MacAnd news on the Apple front…  After many months and many senior advisers troubleshooting my computer…  After the computer being sent in for repair twice and taken to the Apple Store once…  After reams (ok… MANY files of troubleshooting data) sent to engineering…  Apple replace my computer!  Yay!  It was a long road, and I was so discouraged over it not working and no solution to be found.  They never did figure out what was causing the issue, but one senior adviser likened the computer’s symptoms to a person running with cleats on in six inches of mud.  Just working really hard and not getting there anytime soon.  Everything was happening in slow motion, and the more data on the computer the slower it acted.

I shared with you when I was at my lowest with this process, and I wanted to share with you when Apple made it right.  I’m so glad that this came to a positive conclusion and am so thankful to the advisers who worked so hard to get it taken care of!

That is my news for the day!
