Newmans Own Organic

I received a box of goodies from Newman’s Own Organics to try.  I had only seen a couple of Newman’s Own Organics products before, so I was really surprised to see how big a variety of products they have.  Wow!  They have enough variety so that most people should be able to find something they like.  You can see their products here.  And look what I found!  COUPONS!

Newman’s Own Organics began as a division of Newman’s Own, but it became an independent company in 2001.  Their slogan is “Great tasting products that happen to be organic.”  Newman’s Own Organics started with pretzels, added chocolate bars, and then added many different products, including popcorn, tea, and coffee.  Did you know that they even have organic pet food?

Newman’s Own Organics’ products meet all the requirements of the USDA’s National Organic Program.  What does that mean?  It means that the ingredients have been grown on farms that have not used artificial fertilizers or pesticides for three years or more.  Also, the farms and processors have met the USDA’s organic standards.

As you can see from the box above, my family got to try out several of Newman’s Own Organics products.  We tried some chocolate bars, sour licorice twists, cookies, mints, and pretzels.  We LOVED everything we tried!  Every item certainly lived up to their slogan!  Of the items we tried, we had four favorites…

Newmans Own Organic Honey Wheat PretzelsWe really enjoyed the Honey Wheat Pretzel Minis!  I’m not a big pretzel fan, but there was just a little bit of a hint of sweetness that combined nicely with the salt.  My husband and I found these to be quite tasty.

Newmans Own Organic Orange Chocolate ChipI have had chocolate with orange before, but I never thought about making chocolate chip cookies with orange flavoring in them.  When I tried my first one, I found the taste quite delightful and wanted to keep the whole bag for myself.  I thought I would be able to, but picky-eater DS10 actually liked them, so I had to share.

Newmans Own Organic Ginger OsThe entire family liked the Ginger-O’s!  The cookie has a mild ginger flavor with creme in the middle.  These were certainly a hit!

Newmans Own Organic Wintergreen MintsFor my last favorite, I chose the Wintergreen Mints.  I’m not sure why, but I’ve always preferred Wintergreen over Peppermint or Spearmint.  These mints have just the right amount of Wintergreen, not too strong and not too mild.

Newman’s Own Organics wants to give ONE winner each of my favorites!  Would you like to win these?  Read the rules below and enter on the Rafflecopter widget.  Good Luck!
