My Blog Planner 2013

I am happy to announce that I am a part of a new review team called Mosaic Reviews.  Mosaic Reviews is an extension of the Homeschool Mosaics website that I have been writing for since its beginning.

For my first review with Mosaic Reviews, I was supposed to choose a free blog planner to review.  After looking at the extensive list, I chose the “My Blog Planner 2013” from Erica at Confessions of a Homeschooler.  There were so many choices that it was really hard to choose.

After choosing my planner, I downloaded it, printed it out, and hole-punched the pages.  I used some reinforcement rings to keep the holes from tearing out.  I just happened to have a clear 3-ring binder that I was able to use for this, but you could just as easily have it professionally printed and bound at an office store like Staples.

Erica offers two different styles of planners.  I chose the “lined” version that has nice straight lines to guide my messy writing.  The other style uses a calendar for this page.

MyBlogPlanner20134The wonderful part of the scheduling page is the extra information I can add.  Is it a review or giveaway?  Have I chosen a winner?  I can also check off what social media I shared my post on, too:  Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, or Google+.  A lot of information is a small little space…  It makes it easy to see!

MyBlogPlanner20133The other page contained for each month gives space for review/giveaway information and space for post ideas.  I almost think I need a second page like this thrown in every month.  I can add the sheet, but the entire blog planner file is set up, so it prints back-to-back with the entire month showing when the planner is laid open.   It might be a little difficult to line up if I added just one more page each month.

I like this blog planner, and it works well for what I need.  You know what I have learned in this review?  There are a LOT of talented bloggers who make some great printables and offer them for free to their readers.  Check out Erica’s blog and her printables section!

Disclaimer:  I received the My Blog Planner free for the purpose of this review.  Erica at Confessions of a Homeschooler offers this planner free to her readers, so head on over to get your own.  I received no other compensation, nor was I required to give a positive review.

I’m using that blog planner this year too, except I opted to print out the calendar version instead of the lined one! So far, it’s working great for me.

Kimberly, I really like how this planner works, but there were so many great choices, weren’t there?
