I received this album as a download, and I kind of thought that maybe it would be like other albums that I have.  You know.  The ones that I have that I only like a couple of songs from the album of 10 songs?  I sure was WRONG!

How long has it been since you bought an album that you liked EVERY single song on?  For me, it had been a LONG time, but this album has broken that record.  In fact, Don frequently said how much he liked this album while we were listening to it, and he added it to his favorites list on his phone shortly thereafter.  The description that I was given for this album was “an eclectic and authentic mix of rootsy, southern soul”.  I agree with it somewhat, but many of the songs reminded me of a combination of several other Christian singers that I have loved to listen to over the last couple of decades.

Hear Me is Kyle Sherman’s first album.  Kyle Sherman is based in Fort Worth, TX, and he recorded this album at Nashville with veteran producer and country singer-songwriter Mark Collie under RayLynn Records.
