Over the past several months, I have seen more and more about Lilla Rose out in the blogosphere.  I never really had an interest in trying it because… Well…  It looked like it might be hard to put in my hair.  So, when Independent Consultant Paula Miller contacted me to see if I would be interested in reviewing a clip, I thought about it before replying.

When I went to her website to look around, I started getting excited at all the choices.  Honestly, it took quite some time to actually settle on just the one that I wanted.  See it up there?  Isn’t it beautiful?

I shouldn’t have been concerned about having problems putting it in my hair because it was no more difficult than any other barrette that I have used in the past.  The one exception is that I didn’t pull any hair with the Lilla Rose clip.  In fact, it was more difficult for me to put it in my daughter’s hair than to put it in my own.

Sizing was another thing I was concerned about.  Did you know that Lilla Rose has 7 different sizes?  I thought it would be daunting, but Paula emailed me an easy way to figure out my size, and the clip that I ordered fit just right.  Just to pull the sides of my hair back, I need an extra-small.  However, my daughter will need a small when we order her clip.  Yes, she has already picked hers out.  She wants the “Horse Head Named Rose” clip.

In the video below, you will see how the clips work, but you may have to skip through to see the type of clip that I reviewed.

You can also see it at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LTF14UsnaC8&feature=share&list=UUbD9kA_TuRE7-P1vUXbrQNQ.
Doesn’t that look easy?  Well, Paula can make ordering just as easy for you!  You can shop on her Lilla Rose website.  Also, if you live outside of the US, Canada, or Mexico, you can still order great Lilla Rose hair jewelry.  Just e-mail the item numbers and names to the sponsor of this giveaway, Independent Consultant Paula Miller at [email protected].  She will calculate shipping costs, PayPal you an invoice, and ship your items directly to you!

Are you ready for the giveaway?  This Lilla Rose giveaway is sponsored by Independent Consultant Paula Miller.  Please read the rules, and then enter via the Rafflecopter widget below.  Good Luck!

Giveaway starts at 8:01 am EST on September 4, 2012 and ends at 12:01 am EST on September 19, 2012.  In order to enter this giveaway, you must not have won any other Lilla Rose giveaway in the last 6 (six) months.  The winner will be chosen by Random.org via Rafflecopter and will have 48 hours to respond after being contacted by email.  Please make sure to use a valid email address.  Per sponsor, open to U.S., Canadian, and Mexico citizens 18 years old and older.  No purchase is necessary to win.  Void where prohibited.  Odds of winning depend on the number of entries collected.  Facebook, Twitter, and Google+ do not endorse this or sponsor this giveaway.  Nor are Facebook, Twitter, or Google+ affiliated with this blog in any way.  Full set of rules.  Disclaimer:  I received a free Lilla Rose clip for the purpose of writing this review.  I was not compensated in any other way other than receiving a great product that I hope to use for years to come.

The clips really are pretty. Most clips usually slip right out of my hair so I have to wonder if these would be any different. I do suppose winning a giveaway would be a great way to give one a try. lol!

It sure would be a great way! Honestly, I was afraid that it would fall out, too, but the fit was so good that it didn’t slip at all.

      Marie,
I have very fine and slippery hair too – and mine work great! I’ve found that with seven sizes to choose from, we have something for every length, style, and texture of hair.

These clips look beautiful. I have really thick but fine textured hair and struggle to find things that will both hold my hair and stay in place. I like that they have different sizes.

Oh, and I really liked the antiqued brass Roman cross or the native copper filigree clips.
