Staying Safe with Safees

I have been out driving late at night quite a bit this summer, and one thing that I have noticed is that many people have been out walking late at night.  Of course, it has been hard to see these people because of how dark it was and the fact that these people were wearing dark clothing and had no lights with them.  One night there were two people walking down the middle of the street, and I almost didn’t see them at all.  So, when I received an email from Johanna with Safees, I knew I wanted to share her product with you.

Johanna grew up in Sweden where wearing a reflector is a normal practice.  Safees are reflectors meant to be hung from knee or thigh high and allowed to swing to maximize the amount of light reflected from oncoming traffic.  This will allow oncoming traffic to see you quicker.

The video can also be seen at http://youtu.be/mINORjh7JmY.

Wow!  That video really makes the difference clear, doesn’t it?  It’s amazing how something so inexpensive could potentially save your child’s life, isn’t it?  Each Safee is $6.00, and there is an optional spiral attachment for $1.00.  There are several different colors in each shape.  How cool would it be to pick a new one at the beginning of every school year or every birthday?

My family received two Safees with spiral attachments for the purpose of this review.  We really liked them, and I think the spiral attachment is definitely worth the extra $1.00.  This is such a small amount of money to spend on safety.

Now, I get to give 5 Safees away to one winner!  Giveaway starts at 2:01 am EST on August 16, 2012 and ends at 12:01 am EST on August 30, 2012.  The winner will have 48 hours to respond, or a new winner will be chosen.  Read the rest of the rules in the Rafflecopter widget Terms & Conditions.

Disclaimer – I received 2 Safees for the purpose of this review.  I received no other compensation other than the positive feeling of helping someone spread a good message.
