One day last week, a box appear at our door.  Everyone, including the cat, was excited to tear into the box and put our new PlasmaCar together.  When we opened the box, we found…

the PlasmaCar body with the wheels and steering wheels.  It didn’t take much to put this PlasmaCar together because the instructions were very clear and concise.

Here, we have the wheels on, and we just needed to add the steering wheel while aligning it with the front wheels.  Again, this was not difficult to do.  Soon, we had…

a finished PlasmaCar ready for DS9 to ride.  Just a few notes about the PlasmaCar before watching it in action.

  • The PlasmaCar can support an individual up to 220 lbs. while riding on a smooth, flat surface.  Up to 120 lbs. on rough, uneven surfaces.
  • The PlasmaCar is recommended for use on smooth, flat surfaces.  It is not recommended for wood floors or laminates, as it might damage the surfaces.
  • Not recommended for hills, steep slopes, or rough uneven surfaces.  Also not recommended near steps, swimming pools, or vehicle traffic.
  • Having said this, the PlasmaCar is PERFECT for our patio out back, and it might reach speeds of up to 6 mph if our patio were long enough.

Now that the safety points are out of the way, let’s head on to the FUN that is the PlasmaCar!

Or the video can be viewed at http://youtu.be/MmwEgTx6IZ4.

DS9 LOVES his PlasmaCar!  He goes forwards, backwards, and sometimes in circles.  He says it is a very smooth ride.  *DD12 agrees that the ride is smooth AFTER the couple of times that her brother has actually let her ride it.*  This is such a fun and exhilarating toy, that DS9 asks to go out and ride multiple times a day.  It is a calming force for him.  It makes him happy!

If you would like to purchase a PlasmaCar, you can search for a store near you at this link.

Disclaimer:  I received a free PlasmaCar for the purpose of this review, and it in no way influenced my opinion of the product.  If you could see my son ride this everyday, you would know that the opinions listed above are those of my son and me.

my daughter had hers since the age of 4, and just loved it…she is now 10 and it just recently broke after being left out in the sun for so many years….its a great investment and kids will enjoy it for years to come!
