The 5 Love Languages of Children

Last month, I posted a review of A Perfect Pet for Peyton (that giveaway is over).  A Perfect Pet for Peyton covers the 5 love languages of children for children.  It is written so that the child will understand what love language he responds to the most.

The 5 Love Languages of Children by Gary Chapman, PhD and Ross Campbell, MD is a companion book, sort of, only it is for parents.  This book is probably one of the best parenting books that I have read in a long time.  It not only defines the different love languages; it gives examples of easy ways to show your child love in the language that he responds to most.  Also, it gives real life examples of how a parent’s change of approach (in each of the 5 love languages) affected the child positively.  Often, totally changing the child’s outlook.  This is a must read book for EVERY parent!

I’m so excited to be able to offer a giveaway for this book.  Please enter via the Rafflecopter form for your chance to win this wonderful book!

I used to be a counselor and now have children of my own…. I would LOVE to have this book to help my children understand what makes them happy and how to communicate that to others.
