From the director of “Angels In the Outfield” comes an inspiring story about a special boy with an amazing gift, and the coach who believed. Dean Cain and Luke Schroder star in the GMC movie based on the book “The Legend of Mickey Tussler”.

Also seen at this link…
I didn’t have the opportunity to see this movie when it was on GMC last September, so I was happy to be able to get a review copy.

Because Aspergers hits close to home for us, I truly wondered how Luke Schroder would portray the character’s Asperger traits.  I was not disappointed, at all!  I felt that he did an excellent job painting an accurate picture.  I also found Dean Cain very convincing in the role of the coach.  The one problem that I had with this movie was with the role of Mickey’s (Luke Schroder) father.  I found him to be overbearing and wish that his character had been softened a little.

Check out the A Mile in His Shoes Facebook page.

I hope that everyone is able to see this movie because of the message that it contains.  There is hope!  Our kids can persevere and overcome!
