ABCs of Homeschooling with Love

This week is a “freestyle” post before heading back into the ABCs again.  The only requirement is that I link back to a homeschool blog that I find inspiring.  I think I have a plan.

In August, a homeschool/special needs blogger, Jennifer, awarded me the “Living Power Award”.  This award was given to Jennifer by Laurie who describes “Living Power” as “a commitment to live and support others in living our God-inspired best no matter what life brings.”

My purpose with blogging is to share our journey.  What works for us and what doesn’t.  I also want to encourage others that you can intertwine God with whatever you do, whether it be homeschooling or not.  Whether it is spending time with family at home or on the road.  God is there where ever and what ever is happening.

Now, I get to pass on this award to five bloggers whom I find inspiring.  First of all, if you haven’t read Jennifer’s blog, please do so to read her stories of faith in the face of adversity.

I chose the following people for their ability to homeschool while successfully juggling so many other tasks and problems.  {Ok, I added one who doesn’t homeschool, but she deserves this award.  This award was not originally homeschool-centered.}

Dawn (@MommaKnows) of 5 Kids and a Dog soon to be The Momma Knows

Brenda (@BrendaEmmett) of Garden of Learning

Honey (@Sunflowermommie) of Sunflower Schoolhouse

Amy (@MomsToolbox) of Moms Toolbox

Katey (@MamaKautz) of Mama Kautz

To the award winners:

Thank you for blogging through your daily problems and joys to share with us.  Thank you for continuing even though there are a million other things that need to be done.  You are an inspiration to me and to your other readers!  If you would like to pass on the “Living Power Award”, please post on your blog with the following:

  • A mention/link back to the site from which you were nominated.
  • A few sentences about the purpose and vision for your blog, or your hope for your readers.
  • Give a shout-out (with a link) to 5 others to who you feel make a powerful difference in the lives of their readers.
