It’s Disney Flashback Friday time with Sarah over at Magical Days with the Mouse.  I thought long and hard about it this morning, and I think that I will use this to mark a very momentous occasion.

Don’s and my anniversary is coming up very soon.  Since we celebrated our anniversary during the kids’ first trip to Disneyland, I thought that I would post our anniversary memory.  How many years, you might ask?  This year will be 16 years that I have been married to my husband, the love of my life.  He’s put up with me through thick and thin, and for that, I am eternally grateful.

Before anyone gets too sentimental, I’d better move on to the pictures…

This picture was taken from the top of the double-decker bus traveling down Main Street.  What a great way to get a look at Sleeping Beauty’s Castle above the heads of other people!

During that trip, we stayed at the Disneyland Hotel.  It sure looks different, now, though.  After our stay at the Disneyland Hotel, we went to our favorite side-trip location in the Disneyland area.

We went to the Sunday brunch on board the Queen Mary.  It was probably one of the best brunches that we have ever gone to.

It was definitely an anniversary meal to remember!

Of course, the dessert was probably the best part of the meal!

When we planned this trip, we lived in the middle of the country and figured that this would be a once in a lifetime trip.  We took the kids to the beach, spent several days at Disneyland, and visited the Queen Mary.  Who would have thought that we would end up moving further West and having annual passes to Disneyland?

Sounds like nice memories. You just made me realize that I’ve never ridden the double-decker bus. It’s going to be near the top of my list on our next visit to the park.

I hope you have a chance to ride the double-decker bus. It’s gives a whole different view point on Main Street.
