Welcome to those who are joining us from the Ultimate Blog Party 2011! This is our first year, so we are really looking forward to meeting new friends and finding new blogs.
We are homeschoolers who blog about God, life and the search for medical answers, Disney, and the great outdoors. We love to throw a few customer service observations into the mix occasionally, as well. We enjoy the small things in life like just spending time together, even if it is only to shop for groceries or take a walk. We are happy to see that Spring has sprung and are looking forward to taking some short road trips soon.

Living in Central Florida, we have a love/hate relationship with Disney & all the other theme parks! We love to visit them ourselves, but during non-peak season when the tourists aren’t around to crowd the place up! Ha!

I think Disney and spiritually-led home schooling is a perfect match. As First Grade Coordinator at my parish, I include “Disney principles” whenever I can! 😀
I think it is very helpful to add whatever the kids will concentrate on. If I give DD11 a math word problem from the book, she has a hard time with it. If I change the characters to Disney characters, she seems to be able to focus on it. Disney makes it FUN!
So true-
Plus, I’d like to think Disney appeals to the pure of heart…
