Peach Watermelon Lemonade

Saving Time with Peapod Grocery Delivery

Nothing says summer like a glass of cold refreshing lemonade!  Lemonade also makes a great addition to a family get together, too.  Minute Maid® Lemonade makes it easy to get that summer vibe!

It seems like this summer has been so busy, so I tried out our local Peapod delivery service to have a few groceries delivered without taking the time to stop at the store.  It made sense to try out Peapod with the current special going on right now ($20 off first Peapod order and 60 days of free delivery).  I wasn’t quite sure how hard or easy it was going to be to find the items that I needed to add to my shopping cart, but the search sure was easy!  It is also possible to find a list of things I have purchased with my Giant loyalty card.  How cool is that?

Not only was it easy to find what I needed, but I had a wide variety of delivery times to choose from.  Some times even gave a small discount!

I don’t know about you, but it is not uncommon for me to load my groceries in the car, head home, and remember what I forgot to get while in the store.  Peapod gave me the chance to modify my order until a certain time.  I tried it out and added something to my order, and I had no problems.

One of my concerns with deliver service is the outdate on things like bread and dairy items.  I made sure to order a variety of things that I would check closely in the store, including different temperature items.  Everything came at the right temperature and with great outdates.  I was very impressed!  I might have to check out their PodPass (one low annual fee for unlimited free deliveries)!

Anyway, some of the items I purchased were for a small family get together.  I had chosen to have a very simple spread consisting of Minute Maid with a cheese and cracker tray.

Minute Maid lemonade in cans by itself words well for some family members; however, others are more adventuresome.  The Minute Maid made a great base to add some fruit to.  I just happened to have some yellow watermelon and peaches.  What a great blend!

I cut up the fruit and put it in the core of my infusion pitcher.  Then, I poured in the Minute Maid to the top.  Next, the pitcher was put in the refrigerator for a few hours to allow the Minute Maid to absorb some of the fruit taste.

The Peach Watermelon Lemonade sure made a great addition to our gathering.  It sure was refreshing and paired well with the cheese and crackers!

What is your favorite way to drink Minute Maid lemonade?  Why not order some from Peapod?
