How do you eat your PEBBLES

How Do You Eat Your PEBBLES™?

I remember begging to get PEBBLES™ when I was a kid.  Back then, it was a treat to have special cereal like PEBBLES™, and I was always happy when my father obliged and brought a box home for me!  Now, I’m able to share with my kids.

But it comes down to…  Which PEBBLES™ flavor is your favorite, and how do you like to eat it?  Obviously, when I was a kid, I just poured milk over my PEBBLES™.  Now, I prefer to mix the FRUITY PEBBLES™ in with vanilla yogurt.  That way, it adds just the right amount of flavor to my yogurt.

Those who know me will know that my favorite would have to be the chocolatey COCOA PEBBLES™!  I’m a chocolate girl through and through, and COCOA PEBBLES™ adds just the right kick to my breakfast.  However, my favorite way to eat COCOA PEBBLES™ isn’t during breakfast…  Nope.  I like to use my COCOA PEBBLES™ in a chocolatey recipe to make Chocolate Peanut Butter COCOA PEBBLES™ Treats!

Chocolate Peanut Butter Chips

I start by adding a 10 oz bag of peanut butter chips and a 11.5 oz bag of milk chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl.

Then, I add two scoops of peanut butter like the one above.  This is one of my “dump” recipes, so I don’t use exact measurements for it.  After adding the peanut butter, I microwave the mixture for 30 seconds and take it out to stir it up.  Repeat the microwave for 15-30 seconds and stir combination until the mixture is smooth and the chips are all melted.

Mixing in the Cocoa PEBBLES

Then, pour in about 5 cups of COCOA PEBBLES™ and mix until the cereal is well distributed throughout the chocolate peanut butter mixture.

Before pouring the mixture in a pan, you can either line the pan with parchment paper or lightly spray the pan with cooking spray.  Place pan in refrigerator for mixture to set up before cutting.  Once cut, the pieces should stay fairly cool as it will get pretty soft if left out at room temperature.

This is such an addictive treat!  If you like chocolate and peanut butter together, this is the recipe for you!

Shopping for PEBBLES™

Make sure to grab your $1.00 coupon and head to your local store to pick up your PEBBLES™!  I happened to head over to my local GIANT last night to grab my boxes of cereal.

These treats sound good. I don’t eat sweet cereals anymore–but would love to make some of these.

I loved Pebbles as a kid and still enjoy them today. I like the Cocoa Pebbles with milk and sliced banana.

This looks amazing and so creative! My kids like Fruity Pebbles growing up and we tried them like Rice Krispy treats, but this is so much more. Thanks.
