Hersheypark Season Pass Book

Top 5 Reasons to Buy a Hersheypark Season Pass

We visit Hersheypark quite frequently, so it makes sense for us to have a Hersheypark All Season Pass!  However, it really only takes about THREE visits to make the Hersheypark Season Pass pay for itself in comparison to buying three days of tickets separately.  Yes, we do and have already gone more than three times this year…  Note:  We have a Hersheypark All Season Pass.

Because we don’t have to pay per day, we don’t feel like we have to “do it all” or “see it all” each time we go.  We often just go for a few hours, so it is more relaxing and fun for Marvel Boy, especially when it is hot out.  But let’s check out some other things that make purchasing the Hersheypark All Season Pass a great buy!

Food and Merchandise Discounts

Hersheypark Resort Food

Part of the #HersheyparkHappy experience is the food.  There are so many great food options throughout the Hersheypark Resort (park and three resorts).  From Nathan’s cheese fries to fresh made chips to customized whoopie pies, there is plenty to tempt the taste buds.  Some of our family favorites are Makin’ Whoopie Pies at Hersheypark and eating at the Bears’ Den at the Hershey Lodge.  While the discount isn’t huge, any little bit helps.

Hersheypark Season Pass Discount Book Example

Season Passholders get a discount/coupon book when purchasing the pass, and there are quite a few discounts to be had other than food.  There are discounts on merchandise and also BOGO game vouchers.  I don’t know about your kids, but my kids love to play the games around the park.  This can break the budget, but it is so much easier on the pocket book when the vouchers are half price.  I purchase quite a few ticket at a time and keep them in my park bag for when we go.  Caution:  There is an expiration date on the vouchers, so make sure to keep track of that.

New for this season is a season pass discount over at Chocolate World.  My kids love to stop over at Chocolate World to pick up chocolate or have supper.  This discount is MUCH appreciated, and I hope they continue this perk next year!  Check out other Hersheypark Season Pass discounts on the Hersheypark website.

Enter the Park Early with Hersheypark Sweet Start

On several dates throughout the season, Hersheypark offers a perk called Hersheypark Sweet Start.  This perk allows those staying at the Hersheypark Resorts to enter the park early and ride select rides.  It guests get a jump on the day.  This perk is also extended to Hersheypark Season Passholders.  We love to take advantage of this to get in the park before the mad rush in the morning.  On our last visit, Don and Songbird were able to ride Skyrush with little wait because the park wasn’t “officially” open yet.  Just make sure to check to see if Hersheypark Sweet Start is being offered for the day you are heading to the park!

Unlimited Visits to ZooAmerica

ZooAmerica

We love to go to the zoo, so it is a nice perk to be able to go to ZooAmerica as part of our Hersheypark Season Pass admission.  We can even go to ZooAmerica when Hersheypark is closed for the season.  Check out our experiences at ZooAmerica in a recent post.

FREE Parking

Hersheypark Season Pass Parking

I’m just going to say it here…  Most parks charge for parking.  Some more than others.  Hersheypark charges for parking UNLESS you are a Season Passholder.  Not only do you get FREE parking, but the Season Pass parking location is a huge perk in itself!  Check out the Season Pass parking location on the Hersheypark website.  Don’t forget to download the Hersheypark app before going because there is an option to save your parking location on your phone, and it will guide you back to where you parked.

Priority Booking for Private Cabanas at The Boardwalk in Hersheypark

Cabana at The Boardwalk at Hersheypark

If you are looking to pamper yourself and your family this summer, check out the cabanas at The Boardwalk at Hersheypark!  The cabanas are located near the Intercoastal Waterway (lazy river) and have their own private entrance to the waterway.  During the heat of the summer, these can book up fast, so it’s nice to have priority booking.  We had a cabana a week or so ago, so make sure to watch out for a post about them coming up!

For us, there are plenty reason to purchase a Hersheypark All Season Pass every year!  Does a Season Pass make sense for your family?

Disclosure:  I am a part of the Hershey Sweetest Moms.  However, I did purchase my own season pass, and all opinions are my own!

If I lived close to this park, I would have to purchase a season pass too, There’s so much to do, i know my kids would want to come back often. Thanks for sharing!

Hersheypark Sweet Start sounds like a great perk indeed. We will have to look into getting the Hersheypark Season Pass for sure with all the extras you can get with the pass. Thanks for sharing the information.

If you tend to go to Hersey Park often then, from what you are saying, it makes perfect sense to get that PASS. It would actually be foolish not to.
